Stone Sailing Club is situated on the River Blackwater in the Dengie Peninsula, within the district of Maldon, Essex. Offering superb sailing conditions from April through to December, at any point of the tide.

From Chelmsford:
From the Army and Navy Roundabout,
follow the A114 towards Southend. After approximately 1 mile, take the
first exit off sign posted for A414 Maldon.
At
the top of the slip road, turn left at the roundabout following signs for
A414 Danbury, Maldon. Follow this road straight through Danbury towards Maldon, for approx.
4 miles.
At the next roundabout, Oak Roundabout, go straight across
following the signs for Purleigh, Latchingdon, Burnham - B1010.
Follow
this road for 3.5miles. This is a very bendy road, taking you through Purleigh.
This road ends in a T Junction. Turn Right following signs to Burnham,
Latchingdon, Cold Norton - B1010.
At the end of this road, is a double mini
roundabout, turn LEFT, heading towards Latchingdon. Once in the village of
Latchingdon and after passing a garage on your LHS and the Red Lion Pub on your
RHS, you will come across another mini roundabout with a church right in front of
you. Take the left hand fork towards Mayland, Bradwell.
Stay on this
road for approx. 6miles, going through the villages of Mayland and
Steeple.
The turning for St. Lawrence is on the left hand side after Steeple
and is signposted as St. Lawrence Bay.
Follow this road right to the
end, for about 1 1/4 miles, and just before you get to the sea you turn left
into St. Lawrence Drive (there is a road sign on the wall of the old
shop/post office).
The car park to the Club is on the left hand side after
the triangular houses and the actual Club House is opposite this on the other
side of the road on Tinnocks Lane.

From M25 using the A127:
The A127 is Junction 29 on the M25.
Follow the A127 towards Southend.
Take the exit for Chelmsford
A130. Turn Left at the roundabout, heading towards Chelmsford.
Straight
over the first roundabout, 2nd exit.
Straight through the traffic lights at
Rawreth Shot.
Straight over the next roundabout, 2nd exit.
Straight over
the next roundabout, 2nd exit.
At the next roundabout, (original Rettendon
Turnpike), turn Right, fourth exit onto A129, towards South Woodham
Ferrers and Burnham - B1012.
At next roundabout go straight over, 2nd
exit, Burnham - B1012.
Turn left at the next roundabout, Burnham,
Cold Norton.
Go up a hill and take the first exit off to the left,
signposted Stow Maries, Cold Norton - B1018.
Follow this road through
Stow Maries, Cold Norton and Latchingdon for 5 miles. Once in the village of
Latchington and afAfter passing a garage on your LHS and the Red Lion Pub on your RHS, you

The A12 is Junction 28 on the M25.
Follow the A12 towards Chelmsford.

Maldon.

second roundabout, 2nd exit signposted Danbury, Maldon
A414.
Follow this road straight through Danbury towards Maldon, for approx.
